Yesterday after worship the girls had "cooking class"! This is a small life group started by my Uncle Rod and Aunt Pam at church. The girls love to cook and have been so excited about their classes. They made mini tacos, chicken nuggets and peanut butter s'mores! The best part was all the fun they had:0)
Oh, how cute! I think cooking class is such a great thing for kids. Abby loves to cook and bake and she's very good at it, too! I'm planning on putting her to work more often!
ReplyDeletewhat a great idea! i wish i had had something like this as a kid. my mom didn't like to cook, and i had to teach myself. if i had gotten an earlier start, i think it would have been so much easier!
ReplyDeleteMy kids LOVE to cook!! It looks like they had a lot of fun!!
ReplyDeleteI'd eat that menu any time!
ReplyDeleteSandy the pix are precious! How cool that your Church offers a cooking class...very awesome

ReplyDeleteThey are soooo cute! My daughter loves to cook too! I love the cooking class idea!
ReplyDeleteUntil I read this, I had forgotten that my parents signed me up for something similar when I was 11. I went 2 days a week for 8 weeks. I have no memory of what I made, or any recipe. But I DO remember it was FUN!!
ReplyDeleteSandy, I have a loyal commenter award waiting for you on my blog. Check it out when you have time:)
ReplyDeleteCutest mini-chefs EVER!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! The girls look like they had a blast. Very good parenting on your part too. I know I definitely want my children to be able to cook for me before too long. :)
