These are my three sons, Michael, Brandon, and Aaron! This photo was taken in the summer of 1997. It's hard to believe that they were once this small.Michael and Brandon are both taller than me now and Aaron is well on his way!
Wow the timing of this post is incredible. I sit here on my computer and Im hearing "your gonna miss this' by Trace Adkins coming thru my speakers from the player on my site that is open in another browser, and my 2 year old walks up to me and starts singing this song which leads me to those thought of "I better enjoy this, because I am gonna miss this, he wont look this way forever so I better soak it in now while I can" Then I click on your site to read this post. TOO WEIRD!! I guess we are just on the same wave length with our thoughts.
Wow! It does go so fast! I can't believe I have a 17 year old. It's such a bittersweet part of life. We're so proud to see them grow and learn, yet, we want to keep the youth and innocence longer. Sigh.
It does go so fast....my kids are still small and I already look at their pictures wistfully. My 3 year old became a "kid" so fast! Have a great weekend!
Thanks for the photo! Sometimes when you are in the trenches it is hard to look up and see where you are headed! I know my boys will be big before i know it.
Isn't it amazing!!! My 14yr old is 8 inches taller than me and now everyone is commenting how the 12 yr old has caught up to me and my almost 7 yr old is at my shoulder!!!! Does it ever take you by surprise when you have to look up to them?? It freaks me sometimes, LOL!!
Oh my goodness - they grow so fast don't they??? You have an amazing family!!!!
Thank you so much for supporting my big day past Wednesday - I wish I could stop by sooner, but saying hello to all the SITSta who left me comment has been a huge task:)
I really appreciate your kindness to take the time to visit my blog...
Hope you're having a great weekend and stay in touch!
Awww...they grow up so fast, don't they? Much TOO FAST, in my opinion! Wouldn't it be nice to just have them stay little for awhile longer?
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!!!
Such handsome guys you have. It makes me sad to know that they do have to get older and leave home, but that is the circle of life.

Time slips away so very quickly. Each day we need to live in the moment, don't we?
ReplyDeleteCute picture, don't you love the squirmy little kid look in old pictures?
There's a very special award for you on my blog.
ReplyDeleteKids make it so easy to see the years passing. How do they go by so quickly?
ReplyDeleteDon't you sometimes wish you could turn time back to when the kids were small? Mine are not soooo big yet, still I miss my girls being little.
