Today in honor of Mardi Gras, we made some masks. They were very easy and colorful and the girls had fun wearing them while they played.
2. I then cut out holes for the eyes and cut the plate in more of a mask shape.
5. Glue the tissue paper all over the mask.
6. Tape a short dowel or a Popsicle stick to one side of the mask for the handle.
Very cute way to celebrate mardi gras!

ReplyDeleteSo adorable and fun! I don't know if you've heard of the Jewish holiday Purim (it celebrates the story in the book of Esther), which is coming up in a week, but this would be a perfect craft for that, too! :) Thanks for the idea! Love your blog!
