Being a mother is the most amazing thing that has happened in my life! I cannot imagine how different my life would be without my kids. I have always wanted to have a house full of children and now I do. For some people the journey to become a parent is not as easy as it was for me. This is truly heart breaking to me. It should not be so hard, but unfortunately it is for some. That brings me to my point. A few months ago, I had the privilege of "meeting" Yaya. Not in person, but through our blogs. She is an amazing and inspiring women who is longing to become a mother. I am amazed everyday by her strength. She and her hubby are going through the process of foster to adopt. It takes a very special kind of person to do what they are doing to become parents and I bow down to them. We all know how expensive it is to have children. It's also expensive to adopt a child. Yaya and her hubby are hosting a raffle to help fund their adoption process. Please click on their picture to check it out! Every little bit helps, so try to do what you can. These two are going to make fabulous parents! I can feel it:0)
Thanks Sandy!
ReplyDeleteI agree!
ReplyDeleteI love Yaya. She definitely needs to be a mommy.
ReplyDeleteI soooo love Yaya and she WILL make an awesome Mom! I will have to blog about this too.
ReplyDeleteThey sure are! I love Yaya!!
ReplyDeleteI am praying for those two!
ReplyDeleteI just looked aver at your twitter stuff and it says you gave up fast food. Wow, you go girl!! That is hard for us. Sometimes I get lazy and I will tell Jason to pick up a pizza on the way home.
ReplyDeleteBut I did give up pop and night snacking.
It is ridiculous the cost of adopting a child (especially when there are so many irresponsible people who seem to be able to give birth and then don't care for their children, who have the government PAY them because they had children. grrrrrrr.) I read yaya's blog and I just got madder and madder about the injustice of it all.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree with you more!! I love YaYa!
ReplyDeleteYaYa is wonderful and is going to make the best mom!
ReplyDeleteAll I can donate is graphics, which I'm always happy to do for her. :) All of my money winds up going to food.
ReplyDeleteIt isn't fair that this process is so expensive and lengthy. Money is so tight right now as they are making cuts at work and layoffs are happening everywhere. I pray they perservere, because God is faithful and His timing is perfect.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by my blog. Glad to have you over!
ReplyDeleteOne of my best friends (like an older sister)) is adopting from China. It has been 2 and a half years of waiting, and the cost is so much! But I know when she is here it will be totally worth it!
I agree with Jennifer - God is faithful and has the perfect plan.
I love Yaya too! I am going to be sending her a little love this week too:)
