The past few days we have been spending a great deal of time outdoors. This morning we noticed that the birds are really coming back to our yard for spring. We are ready for them! We made bird feeders and filled our other bird feeders, so all we have to do now is wait for the birds to come. We made some binoculars so that we can get a good look at them;0)
2. Using some yarn, tie the tubes together and make a string to wear them around the neck. (use caution when wearing them around the neck)
3. Quietly watch for birds in your yard. We had lots of fun doing this, but the kids would squeal with delight when they saw them coming. We kept scaring them away:0(
This is great! Doesn't it feel as though Spring is right around the corner? I can't wait!!

Great idea, we will make these tomorrow! =)
ReplyDeletelove this idea, the birds have been coming back here too. And are looking for nesting spots, ohh and we have crocus's in bloom-yay!!1
ReplyDeleteGreat post! To get your kids to enjoy the outdoors, check out the bug catcher at www.binoculars-n-more.com. in the Outdoors Kids section.
ReplyDeleteIt allows kids to catch a bug without even touching it and once they have caught it, they can see it up close with the built-in bug catcher.
I'm for anything that will get kids enjoying the outdoors and away from playing video games all day.
Sorry for the mistake in my previous post.
ReplyDeleteThe bug catcher comes with a built in magnifier for viewing their catch up close.
Love this! I featured you on my site TwoHeartsTogether for my readers to get in on the fun with this too
ReplyDeleteThanks Sandy!
